We will mail you the results within 7-10 business days after the draw.

How much support is available after testing?
Each test comes with a 30 minute review with an ALCAT nutritionist. They will go over your results, talk to you about your rotational diet, when to re-introduce reactive foods, and answer any questions you have.

Is the test covered by my insurance?
Sometimes it is, please check with your insurance provider regarding coverage and process for filing claims. Reference procedure code 83516. The ALCAT test is not reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid and other federally funded programs.

The blue boxes include items that should be removed from the diet due to reactions with other items.

Is fasting required before taking the ALCAT Test?
No

What are the medication restrictions for the ALCAT Test?
It is not necessary to postpone testing if, despite medication use, inflammatory symptoms persist. However, to the extent medication can be reduced prior to testing, the patient should do so, as anti-inflammatory medications may have an effect on test results. Do not take any medications 3 to 4 hours before blood draw. Anti-rejection therapy will probably reduce test sensitivity.

Refund Policy?
Returned and unused test kits may be refunded in full (minus a $50 restocking fee) within 90 days of the order. Unused kits must be returned for a refund.
